5 more days until my first test officially begins. I cant wait. Oh joy. Then tests for 2... 3 weeks in a row. Oh boyyy. Soooo exciting.
On the brighter side, I just learned how to play You and Me by Lifehouse on the guitar with this new string muting technique thing that makes it sound really nice. It's kind of cool. And plus my Martin strings from HK are finally here. :) And Jimmy gave me a set of Dean Markleys for my electric. Although I would have totally preferred Ernie(s) Ball(s) just cuz of the name.
My computer is now triplebooted with XP, Vista, and Ubuntu 9.04. Its kind of cool. Although I am kinda of running out of harddrive space. How did I use 600Gb again?
I have awesome friends.

testtesttesttesttesttesttest
There are five seasons in junior year: Winter, Spring, Test season, Summer, and Fall. Vivaldi missed one. I think the sudden drop in the amount of sleep I'm getting is a sure sign that test season has begun. On top of that all day, I hear underclassmen whining about how they can't finish their work. Sophomores and freshmen complaining about how much work they have just plain pisses me off. How many AP and SAT exams are you taking? Yeah that's what I thought.
Also, my computer died on me. I am no longer able to boot Vista anymore, and now I am running XP. Wasted three hours of my time yesterday trying to get it to work. Piss me off.
My cellphone has dust inside of it on the screen so that I can't clean it without taking my whole phone apart. Piss me off.
I just changed new guitar strings that actually sound worse than my old rusty ones onto my acoustic guitar. Piss me off.
What is wrong with my life? I cannot wait until summer, where I can finally get a job and work on something other than schoolwork. Not much better, but hey, at least its different.

all the above!
My music taste can generally be described as incredibly diverse. I like pretty much everything, especially oldies rock. However, I don't really listen to death metal and some types of rap.
So... I also have a new favorite song pretty much everyday or two. CUZ THERES SO MUCH GOOD MUSIC OUT THERE! And my new favorite song of the day is All the Above feat. T-Pain by Maino. I don't usually listen to R&B but this is really good. :)
I have a band called the Chicken Biskits, created for the Rock for Charity event. Website is at http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1686090067#/group.php?gid=65354838431. Anyways, we had practice today, and my lead guitarist has problems counting. Spent an hour getting four bars of his solo right, literally, and its still not completely right. All good fun though, kinda.
Half day tomorrow, prom on saturday. How exciting. Finally some fun in my life!

Worst day of 2009?
Maybe the emo crap I joked about in my previous post will actually come true. Terrible day for me, really. I have a test that I am completely unprepared for tomorrow, two labs due that I haven't even started on, also due tomorrow. Also, someone wasted an hour of my life today during our recording session by setting up recording equipment after we were ready, then finding out it doesn't work, then frantically running around trying to make it work. Fail.
Also, something much worse than everything above added together happened, except I mention anything specific on this blog at this moment. Perhaps after the dust has settled, I'll write a little more about it.
Must get to those labs now. FML
I don't feel like going to school tomorrow. Just sitting at home and doing nothing sounds good.

Ughh...
I've just noticed that the title of this blog is the same as the title of that simple plan song. However, my life is nowhere as emo as simple plan's. All they talk about is like my life is so miserable im all alone no one loves me no one cares cut my wrists lets all die etc.
Anyways, not much happened the past couple of day. The usual, you know. School's starting again tomorrow. Not too happy about waking up early and classes, but at least I get to see my friends again. I spray painted my desktop white, so it looks pretty cool now. Planning to put some designs on it later. Also added another harddrive, floppy drive (i have no idea why i need one) and both optical drives working. Its kinda cool. I know I am a geek.
Time to sleep now. Need to wake up tomorrow to go to school. Oh joy.
This blog is becoming really dull... I think the neglecting stage that all my previous blogs/sites have suffered from is starting. Its the beginning of the end! (Again!)

Birthdays!
So I haven't posted for like 3 days now and it seems that no one reads this blog anymore.
Anywho, the 23rd was my sisters bday and the 24th was Abi's bday and that means FUN! Well, not really my sisters bday wasn't all that great but Abi's sure was. Coldstone cake 2 days in a row, Ninos, arcade, Bellagios, and just awesome great fun. :)
I wonder if anyone still uses floppy drives...
It's been a great break so far. However, I think I'm gonna have to start working soon, because I still haven't started any of it yet. :(

My accomplishment of the day
Ok so I am hardware obsessed. I have a thing for taking apart expensive electronic things and putting them back together. I have taken apart both my laptops twice, to add RAM and to clean the fan, etc. I've built my own desktop, and I've been upgrading it ever since, adding and replacing fans, and as of today, added a new optical drive.
Anyways, before I get into that lets go over my day. I had dim sum for lunch. It was really good because I love canto food, although the food was so slow and I was so hungry waiting for it. When I got home in the afternoon, I practiced a bit with part of my band, Mich and Jimmy, and played some guitar hero because Jimmy never played it before.
Since my old desktop died on me, it became more of a spare parts inventory than a computer, so I took it apart and decided that I could use the cd-rom drive and the floppy drive in my current desktop. I carefully, well, not really, plugged everything in. Guess what? Nothing worked.
Ok to make a long story short, I tried everything I could and failed and I was so confuzzled. (Jess uses that word too). My dad walks in and I'm like DAD IT DOESNT WORKKKKK!!! and he was like oh... and he took the optical drive out and moved a jumper on the back to set it to slave to match the master drive I already had. AND IT WORKED! AMAZING! So I now have newfound respect for my dad's technology ability. I guess those old school skills are still useful sometimes.
So my accomplishment of the day is I learned how to use jumpers! Yay for me. Ok you probably don't care, but if you've bothered to read this far down this blog post, you either really care about me and/or you're a geek. EDIT: because as jess pointed out, you can really care about AND be a geek too. :)
Time to go. Later.
